There are two Zoom games:
1) Zoom Codes -Maths and code questions
2) Zoom Verbal – Verbal Reasoning questions
Information for both games :
- The games are for 1-2 players.
- Each game has 200 questions, which are graded for difficulty and in a multiple choice format.
- Designed for 8-11 year olds.
- Cards are grouped into numerical and code questions in Zoom Codes and spelling and vocabulary questions in Zoom Verbal.
- An explanation for each question type, is given on each code breaker card.
- The games build children’s confidence and speed.
- They help children with question type recognition, for the 11 plus test.
- Each question should be aimed to be answered in 30 seconds or 2 minutes a card. ( This is the average speed required in the actual 11 plus test)
- The game highlights areas of weakness, so they can be addressed.
Contents of each game:
- 50 question cards with 200 questions
- 10 code breaker cards teaching each question type
- 16 Well done cards (tokens to collect to win)
- 20 answer cards
